Essex EEG Bootcamp

Event Date:
Thursday, March 2, 2023 to Friday, March 3, 2023
Event Location:
University of Essex, UK

The Essex EEG Bootcamp is co-organised by the Department of Psychology (University of Essex) and ANT Neuro as a leading neurotechnology provider of EEG equipment for high-precision research and clinical applications. This educational event is well suited for anyone who is interested in understanding the fundamentals of EEG (from neurophysiological signals to various setups and analysis methods) and conceptualising within the discipline of psychology. Early-stage researchers are welcome to join, as well as established researchers that are new to the field of EEG.

The general introduction on the first day will be followed by a more specialized theme on the second day on the benefits of EEG research in social and cognitive neuroscience with focus on ERP methods in language and emotion.

The expert instructors are leading researchers in their field. Together with the ANT Neuro specialists, they will guide the participants all the way from the introduction to broader applications, the principles of experimental design, data acquisition and analysis step. During the practical sessions, participants will be in supervised groups acquiring data and gaining a thorough hands-on experience to help them start with their own future experiments.

Registration is required; please visit the event website to read more details and register.
